20:08Slide Video Mehrshahr is one of the neighborhoods of Karaj in Alborz province of Iran. Prior to 1372, this area was considered a separate city from the city of Karaj and was managed by the Mehrshahr Municipality (now called the Municipality of Districts 3 and 4 of Karaj). Mehrshahr has three main streets: "Shahrdari" (four lanes), "Eram" and "Golha"; Which is located at the beginning of Eram Boulevard "Apple Garden" and in the middle of it Shams Palace (Pearl Palace). Mehrshahr has a cool and very clean climate due to the existence of many gardens around it. It is said that the interest of the founder of Mehrshahr, namely Shams Pahlavi, in Mehr (meaning the sun and its related mirrors) influenced this naming. He changed his name from Khadijeh to Shams (Sun or Mehr) and his wife also changed her name from Ezatullah to Mehrdad (gift of the sun). Mehrshahr was first named "Mehrdasht" at the request of Shams Pahlavi. During the reign of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi and after the construction of the Pearl Palace in this area, two boulevards with the names of Chaharbandi (municipality) and Eram were built in villa areas for citizens in three phases adjacent to the palace, which is called Mehrshahr. The total of these areas was added. These areas initially consisted of large and scattered villas and on three sides reached lands that were turned into apple orchards by the order of Shams Pahlavi to improve the climate of the region. By the end of 1957, the number of villas was increasing. After the Iranian Revolution (1978), this area was opened to the public and the Foundation of the Oppressed and Veterans of the Islamic Revolution became the custodian of many vacant lands and abandoned villas. The Pearl Palace was also captured by Sepah. Phase 1.2 3 area, which is also called Municipality Boulevard area these days, now in addition to old villas, many of which have unique designs of prominent architects, the Municipality Boulevard area is surrounded by two streets, Eram and After Mehrshahr joined the Karaj municipality, apartments were given permits to build apartments in the area, and many historic villas were demolished and replaced by three- to five-story apartments, but the overall atmosphere of the city remains a villa. #iran #karaj #mehrshahr #streetwalk #inside مِهرشهر یکی از محله‌های کرج در استان البرز ایران است. این منطقه تا پیش از سال ۱۳۷۲ شهری جداگانه از شهر کرج محسوب می‌شد و شهرداری مهرشهر (که اکنون شهرداری مناطق ۳ و ۴ کرج نامیده می‌شود) آن را اداره می‌کرد. مهرشهر دارای سه خیابان اصلی «شهرداری»(چهار باندی) ،«ارم» و «گلها» است؛ که در ابتدای بلوار ارم «باغ سیب» و در میانه آن کاخ شمس (کاخ مروارید) واقع شده‌است. مهرشهر به علت وجود باغ‌های فراوان در اطراف آن دارای آب و هوایی خنک و بسیار پاک می‌باشد. گفته می‌شود علاقه بنیان‌گذار مهرشهر، یعنی شمس پهلوی، به مهر (در معنی خورشید و آیین‌های مرتبط با آن) بر این نام‌گذاری مؤثر بوده‌است. او نام خود را از خدیجه به شمس (خورشید یا مهر) تغییر داد و همسر او نیز نامش را از عزت‌الله به مهرداد (هدیه خورشید) تغییر داد. مهرشهر نخست به خواست شمس پهلوی «مهردشت» نامیده شده بود. در زمان محمدرضا شاه پهلوی و پس از ساخت کاخ مروارید در این ناحیه، دو بلوار با نام‌های چهارباندی (شهرداری) و ارم در منطقه‌ای ویلایی برای شهروندان در سه فاز مجاور کاخ ساخته می‌شود که مهرشهر نامیده می‌شود که بعد از انقلاب فاز۴ و بلوار گل‌ها به مجموع این مناطق اضافه گردید. این مناطق در ابتدا شامل ویلاهای بزرگ و پراکنده بود و از ۳ طرف به زمین‌هایی می‌رسید که به دستور شمس پهلوی برای بهبود آب و هوای منطقه به باغ سیب تبدیل شد. تا اواخر سال ۵۷ تعداد ویلاها رو به فزونی نهاد. پس از انقلاب ایران (۱۳۵۷) این منطقه به روی عموم مردم باز شد و بنیاد مستضعفان و جانبازان انقلاب اسلامی متولی بسیاری از زمین‌های خالی و ویلاهای متروکه شد. همچنین کاخ مروارید به تصرف سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی درآمد. منطقه فاز ۱٬۲٬۳ که این روزها منطقه بلوار شهرداری نیز نامیده می‌شود، اکنون علاوه بر ویلاهای قدیمی که بسیاری از آن‌ها دارای طراحی‌های منحصربه‌فرد معماران برجسته هستند منطقه بلوار شهرداری توسط دو خیابان ارم و کمربندی احاطه شده‌است. پس از پیوستن مهرشهر به شهرداری کرج، مجوز آپارتمان سازی در این منطقه داده شده و بسیاری از ویلاهای تاریخی تخریب شده و به جای آن آپارتمان‌های سه تا پنج طبقه ساخته شده‌است اما فضای کلی شهر همچنان ویلایی باقی‌مانده‌است.
