Chilli chicken is a popular Indo-Chinese dish of chicken. In India, this may include a variety of dry chicken preparations. Though mainly boneless chicken is used in this dish, some people also use bone-in chicken too.
In this video, I am cooking tasty chilli chicken which you can eat as a starter or even in the main course.
Ingredients Needed For Chicken Marination :
1/2 Kilo Boneless Chicken
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
1 And Half Teaspoon Soya Sauce
2 Teaspoon Maida
2 Teaspoon Cornflour
1 Egg
Method For Chicken Marination :
Wash the chicken and cut into small cubes
Take the chicken pieces in a bowl and add salt
Add black pepper powder
Add red chilli powder
Add ginger garlic paste
Add soya sauce
Add maida
Add cornflour
Mix the masala thoroughly
Break egg into another bowl and mix it. Then add just half egg to this chicken bowl
Keep it for marination for 30 minutes
Ingredients Needed To Make Chilli Chicken Gravy :
2 Teaspoon Oil
1 And Half Teaspoon Vinegar
1 And Half Teaspoon Soya Sauce
2 Teaspoon Tomato Sauce
2 Teaspoon Tomato Chilli Sauce
1 Capsicum
1 Onion
10 Pieces Of Garlic
3 Green Chillies
1 Small Piece Of Ginger
Little Spring Onion For Garnishing
1 Teaspoon Cornflour
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
Method To Make Chilli Chicken Curry :
After 30 minutes of chicken marination, take a frying pan and put oil in it
Once oil is hot, add the chicken pieces one by one and fry it
Once chicken is fried, remove it from oil (in about 3 minutes)
Remove the excess oil from the frying pan and add just 2 teaspoons of oil
Cut the ginger, garlic and green chillies into small pieces and add to the oil once it is hot
Chop the onions into small cubes and add to the pan
Add capsicum and fry it a little
Add chilli sauce
Add tomato sauce
Add soya sauce
Add vinegar
Add salt
Mix a little water with cornflour and add to the pan
Add the fried chicken to this gravy
Mix thoroughly
Add chopped spring onions
And in just 10 minutes CHILLI CHICKEN IS READY!!
