Penelope, Cole and Ava PCH Undercrossing, located at Via Escondido Drive & Pacific Coast Highway

The Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) recently opened a new coastal accessway to Escondido Beach in the City of Malibu. The Penelope, Cole and Ava PCH Undercrossing is a safe way to get to the beach without having to worry how to cross the busy Pacific Coast Highway.  The attached video walks you through the full route from the Metro 534 bus stop directly to this sandy beach. Please note, there is plenty of roadside parking on the inland side of PCH in this area. As the weather warms up, we encourage the public to visit YOUR beautiful California beaches. Public investments make public access to these places a reality, and so, you should feel safe and welcome to enjoy them as much as any other person. Let's go to the beach!
