    @corporalpunishment11336 years ago One of the biggest advantages of the barra motor is the roller cams. Means longer effective duration because the roller cam can open the valves faster than a flat cam in the rb. 7

    @davespooney84724 years ago Drove a 2013 falcon limo with the standard na barra - plenty of pull, well on cam by 4k. Moved great for what is probably the heaviest falcon. Auto box was stupidly long geared though! 5

    @Rollin8.05 years ago Protip: a barra turbo is very similar in weight, height, width and length to a 2jz or rb26det. If your car can fit either of these engines it' ll fit a barra and possibly be lighter. 22

    @russellreed36836 years ago I deal with ford 170 & 200ci and the 300ci i6 engines almost weekly due some older, somewhat niche industrial equipment i work on.
    damn good even though i like me some sbf and modulars, especially forced, these would definitely work for a hot rod!
    i want one in my ratty fox body coupe. Cruising ebay in a tab right now!
    too bad ford' s ' infinite wisdom' couldn' t see their in-house resources for what they were or they would be much more common around the world
