Bella Elle auditions for Miles Bennett in the film Soft Landing

Bella Elle, age 12, submits an audition for the role of Miles Bennett in the film Soft Landing. Bella was invited to take this audition and we initially ignored the invitation because the part is written for a boy! We figured it was a mistake that she was invited. Well, we got a personal email from the casting director saying that they extended the deadline because they really wanted Bella to read for the part. So, of course, we dropped everything that morning and recorded/submitted the audition side. After all that, she didn't get the part. No worries! It was flattering to be asked and pursued. Bella is very unique and brings her own interpretation to the role. If the casting directors are looking for something else, it's fine by us! Onward and forward.
