🇧🇩Acquisition of a helicopter carrier has been in the plan of the Bangladesh Navy since 2014 as part of the Forces Goal 2030 blueprint. The helicopter carrier will be able to act as the flag ship, command ship and allow the Navy to conduct/support amphibious assault, offshore power projection and anti-submarine warfare through deployment of screen elements.
