هو البطريرك الماروني السادس والسبعون. قاد الكنيسة المارونية خمسةً وعشرين عاماً حتى استقالته بداعي التقدّم في السن. شارك في عضوية "مجمّع أساقفة الكنيسة المارونية" . له إنجازات عديدة على الصعيد الكنسي، إذ استحدث عدداً من الأبرشيات للإغتراب الماروني، وصدرت خلال حبريته نسخ جديدة لأغلب الرتب الطقسية المارونية. وقد أعلن قداسة رفقا ونعمة الله الحرديني وتطويب يعقوب الكبوشي وإسطفان نعمة. اشتهر ببلاغته باللغة العربية واتقانه للغات أخرى. لقّب بـ"بطريرك في السياسة" فكانت مواقفه مثيرة للجدل. توفي في 12 أيار 2019 عن عمر ناهز التاسعة وتسعين عاماً. "وراء الوجوه" هو برنامج حواري حققّت حلقاته نجاحاً لافتاً ونسبة مشاهدة عالية. وقد جال ريكاردو كرم العالم، في أوّل إنتاج خاص له، وحرص على اعتماد أسلوب "وجهاً لوجه"، ليتمكّن من الغوص في أعماق ضيوفه واستنباط أفكارهم كي يكشف لجمهوره ما وراء تلك الوجوه. Patriarch Cardinal Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir was the 76th Maronite Patriarch who led the Maronite Church for 25 years until he resigned due to age. He was a member of the Council of Maronite Bishops and took a firm stance against social and political injustices during the turmoil in Lebanon. He spoke out for the poor and disenfranchised and became a strong voice for reason and sanity in the later years of the Lebanese civil war. His writings and sermons put to the fore his vision on how best to achieve a free and prosperous future for the country. Patriarch Sfeir died peacefully on May 12 of the year 2019 at the age of 99. “Waraa Al Wojooh” is an immensely successful show that featured intimate worldwide interviews.
