@katydid03233 years ago The “good morning” text always cracks me up now. Sometimes I’ll respond with “which number in the rotation was I this morning?” or I won’t respond to it at all unless he’s been consistently setting up dates.

He'd use cheesy nicknames such as baby, babe, etc. NEVER my first name. He'd send me pictures of what he was doing during the day but if he wanted to see me he would only contact me during the evening/night. I'm glad I told him NEXT. I knew in my heart something was shady about him, so as soon as he went cold within the first few weeks, I called him on it, then walked away. Then he comes back multiple times over the last few months and I have ignored him. I finally sent him a text to talk on Sunday, nothing from him. Your advice, Ryan, has been really helpful. It's given me more confidence to express myself and what I want and not settle for anything less. Trust your gut!! ... 5

"Hey! How are you?" First time or first day may be fine. Then you try to reply and continue more conversations, wind~~~~
After that, few days later, probably few weeks or even few months later:
"Hi, how are you?"
Answer: Yeah, I'm fine without your distractions!
Don't mind being single, as long as I'm happy with family! I can always entertain myself with some movies, outdoor activities, online games and even Korean dramas! LOL 🤣 ... 33

Also, the "good morning" and "good night" texts are something I receive now for over a year or longer. I was told he consulted with 6 other people regarding my response. Lol! I was tired of this text, it felt so superficial, so empty because nothing followed. I was told I would never get another good morning text. At first it crushed me, but then I hard to face facts- if the audio and video don't match then you're wasting my time! ... 4

I thought & I even gave him details of 3 local hotels near me. Suddenly, his attitude started to change he wasn't feeling well but still carried o with his 'evening' voluntary work, during the day he would be doing 'researching or his online course' at his local library. He was too ill to come up & see me but well enough to entertain a 'friend'. One of his texts he said he would 'take it' nice & slow with me. It was at that point the penny dropped - he was only after 1 thing. He still continued with his sob story being too ill to visit me. I stopped replying to his texts. I got dumped & blocked on social media. ... 1

Just when I was moving on...2 weeks later, he left me a message on my voicemail begging me to call him back with a sad voice . Got him on the phone, he told me "right, I need to tell you the truth " and told me a story worthy of a B-grade drama movie!! All of a sudden, he realized that I was the most honest, pretty and funny girl he ever met blablabla...and cannot wait to see me again !? Last time I saw him was a year ago...yeah right... ... 2

What this looks like is a guy you've been dating for a while all of a sudden can't confirm plans for a Friday or Saturday night until the night before. It's the yeah I'll know by Thursdaymorning if I can see you on Friday night. Truthfully if it's a family or work thing he would tell you that on the front load. What he's doing is holding out to see if somebody else he's talking to is available and wants to go out with him first ... 6
