Nestled amidst the dense forest of the Western Ghats and adjacent to the Agumbe ranges the waterfall is the first fall of the River Sita. It is also known as Sita Falls. Legend has it that ages ago, many sages used to meditate here. The waterfall is pristine and beautiful in its own accord. Situated deep in the forest, a refreshing trek through the agumbe ranges in order to reach the falls. The path is blissful. This is an eco-friendly area and as adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers, we must refrain from carrying plastics and litering the place. There are a few eateries available and the food is really good especially after the trek and a refreshing bath. This place is definitely worth a visit.
