How to Prepare TamilNadu Special Kavuni Arisi Dosai Maavu using Mixie, Healthy Breakfast, and good for Weight loss. The black rice(kavuni arisi), it is high in protein, low carbs and calories compared to normal rice. It Boosts our stamina and strength, which we need badly in these busy days. It's is good to change our lifestyle to healthy eating even for our kids. How to make the Black rice Dosa Batter: 1 cup black rice/கவுனி அரிசி 1/4 cup channa dal/கடலை பருப்பு 1 tsp fenugreek seeds/வெந்தயம் 1/4 cup urad dal/உளுந்து Take all the ingredients in a bowl, rinse and Wash completely and then soak in the water for 5 hours(black rice needs more soaking time). Once the dal and the rice soaked completely. Transfer the rice & dal into a mixie jar add a tsp salt and grind it to a smooth batter. Transfer the batter to a bowl, use your hand, and mix the batter well(mixing in hand helps for fermentation process). Rest the batter to ferment for 8 hours or overnight or till it gets fermented. After 8 hours Black rice Dosa Batter is ready to make moru moru kavuni arisi dosai. NOTES: 🔆Make sure that you are letting the rice & the dal soak completely for 5 hours and then after grinding let it ferment completely. 🔆This dosa batter stays up to 3 days in the fridge, after that it will turn sour so try to finish it within 3 days.
